This day ranks up pretty high on my "Awesome Day List"...
It started slow for me, because I got to sleep in.
But these four ventured to the Orlando Temple for Baptisms.
It took longer to get there and do the Baptisms than we all thought it would but it was a great experience.
When we told the girls we were going to Orlando, the FIRST thing Jadyn said is, "OOOh I think there's a Temple there, can we go do baptisms?!?"
We all looked at each other for a second.
But really how can we say no to that? I LOVE her LOVE for Temples, it's beautiful!
Tayler and Jaden had taken the red-eye in and arrived around 6 am.
We were so happy to have them there and ready to start our adventure.
We took in some time at our resorts pool, and had the whole thing to ourselves.
Then on to the best part of the day.
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party @ Magic Kingdom.
The party started at 7, but they let us in the park at 4.
We were decked out and ready for an awesome 8 hours of fun!
A lot of thought and time went in to making these 10 costumes.
Admittedly... not everyone was on board at first.
There may have been a little disagreement about who HAD to be Snow White, the Evil Queen and the Prince. ;););)
(Clearly I drew the short stick)
But in the end we ALL had a blast.
Thanks to everyone for being good sports.
But if I do say so myself... we looked AWESOME!
+ people told us... so we know it's true. ;)
We may have felt a tich out of place at first.
The party overlapped with "regular park guests" so... we did get a few strange looks.
But we were just happy that we had more time at the park and we made the most of it.
We all loved Snow White's Mine Train ride of course.
That ride has the longest line in the park so we were lucky we got on it "relatively quick".
("Hold on to your hats little dwarfs")
Pure joy.

Sneezy and Grumpy
The Evil Queen + Bashful (looking not so bashful ;))
I love this picture.
But I love this one even more!!
(Our little Dopey had the best costume of all!)
Dopey was super sweaty on this toasty night haha.
But seriously so stinkin' cute.
We rode ride after ride.
And got SO much candy at all the trick or treat stops
We met characters...
You can NEVER see the 7 dwarfs...
let alone all together.
So we HAD to get a picture with them.
Lisa had read reviews that the line to see them was sometimes 2 hours.
We were ALL pleasantly surprised for our 20 minute wait!
(because we wouldn't have waited 2 hours haha)
PS why didn't the photographer tell me to squat a little?!? I was stealing Sneezy's thunder!
These three aren't quite ready for this pic though.
We didn't know where it was yet. haha
This next pic is hilarious.
When we were in Animal Kingdom riding Expedition Everest Shane lost his "magic band" (the bracelet everyone wears as their ticket/fastpass ride entrance etc.)
He's a hands in the air kindof guy on roller coaster rides... in other words he can't keep the rule of... "keep your hands, arms, legs and feet inside the ride at all times."
bahahaha
And he lost his magic band at the very beginning. It's a roller coaster... like it's pretty rare to go over the same spot more than once right? But he spent the ENTIRE ride hanging out the side looking for it... was he going to jump out and get it if he caught a glimpse? I'm not sure... but I finally said, "Just enjoy the ride Shane."
The story ended well, they got him hooked up with a new magic band for free...
But here it was two parks later...
and it looks like he's still searching for that magic band.
I hope he finds it one day.

Jadyn loves to "fall asleep" on rides.
Actually it's kindof weird that he knows where the pictures are always taken...
The second time we acted our parts. hahahaha
Except that Grumpy looks a little more sleepy than grumpy... and sleepy looks a little too happy. ;)
Play your parts people...
But the prince....?????
Yikes, what are you doing Shane?
Cuz I don't know if that's a very "Princely look".

But really those three in the car are an interesting combo.
I'm betting that if the lady in the middle blogs... she had something to say about that weirdo in the front...
Just sayin'.
As Lisa says... "that picture right there is worth the photo pass!"
So true!!!
Splash Mountain is a blast...
Jadyn hates Splash Mountain... it makes her very grumpy.
But once again boy Jaden (who is actually the dwarf grumpy) played sleepy.
And Snow White doesn't much care for Pirates apparently.
Nor do her dwarfs.
Or the Incredible's family in front of us actually.
Buzz Lightyear is a blast.
Yes, we had more fun than it looks like we are having.
These are our "competition" faces.
Although Saige has a somewhat "pained" competition face apparently.
Lydia and (mainly) Jadyn wanted ALL of the character autographs.
We did a little splitting up so the others could go on rides.
But Jadyn was very happy we got some.
I'm still a tiny bit sad that I had to miss the fireworks to see two princesses... but I love their happy faces.
We watched the last show "Hocus Pocus" in front of the castle and then headed out.
We stopped for one more picture.
There were several in the group who were not anxious for the 12 am picture after so many pictures during the day.
We thought the photographer was crazy because she kept taking more and more,
even I was like OK I think we're good.
But she knew just what she was doing...
waiting for THIS!
Our most epic Disney picture ever!
It was a perfect ending to a perfect day!
We weren't sure if it would be, but Mickey's not so Scary Party was TOTALLY worth it.
The ticket is pricey considering you don't get the whole day, but since they kicked all of the regular day park people out at 7 pm it was pretty much a wash.
The park was DEFINITELY less crowded after everyone left @ 7.
The atmosphere was SO FUN!
The candy was plentiful!
We loved it!
