November 2018

November was filled with...

the start of Green Canyon Basketball games.

Jadyn's art exhibit night @ Spring Creek Middle School.

I had a "car-nic" with Lydia one day at school.
That's what she called it because we had our picnic in the car. haha
I made up a schedule years ago that includes a special one-on-one date with one of the girls, so two a month.  One with Shane, and one with me.
November was Lydia's month with me and she chose Fredricos for lunch.

Lydia lost another tooth. haha

These two continued being awesome doing Baptisms.

Busy days of dance for Lydia and Jadyn.

And Kenna went on her first date... sort of.

The cheerleaders are in charge of "Sadies" (the girls-choice dance).
Kenna and her friend Irelynd were the only girls in the group who were not taking dates (since they're still 15).
But they were planning on going stag anyway because they had to help with setup/cleanup.

Then one of the girls... Taya... got sick.
No one knew at the time HOW sick she was, it's super serious and scary.
She's STILL down at Primary Childrens with a severe brain infection 6 weeks later.
Heartbreaking.

She had a date with Case... and the coach asked Kenna and Irelynd if they could go together with him so he wouldn't have to miss the dance.

That was fine by us.

They had a fun time together, especially because their group was huge!

What a lucky boy haha

There was Thanksgiving.
Obviously sweet Sadie had very little downtime with our big family.

And Sydney is a crackup.

These guys are pretty great.

I'm definitely wishing that I had taken more pictures though.

Our tree adventures were without any incident at all.
No one cried.
No one complained.
No one froze.
We just found our trees and cut them.

We were super happy to have Tayler and Jaden with us this year.
Jaden thinks they should get a fake tree, but I'm guessing Tayler will NEVER let that happen!

Then spent the rest of the day decorating.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!

I took these four girls to the Nutcracker.
(Jaden and Shane were just fine that they weren't invited.)
It's been YEARS since we have gone.
Jadyn BARELY remembers even going.
We haven't gone since the year Saige announced that she, "actually HATES the nutcracker."

In her defense, she is VERY offended we keep bringing that up... because she doesn't HATE it, it just isn't her favorite tradition.
Honestly Saige I'm glad we stopped that tradition too... because it's not ACTUALLY my favorite either.  It's all very pretty and Christmasy... but I totally know what's coming up next! haha

So... that good long break that we took, helped us to enjoy it more.
And then we ALL agreed that we don't need to go EVERY year. hahaha
So we have to stop blaming it on Saige I guess!

Shane spent the last week of November in Nauvoo.

Thanks November.

October 2018

Our October fun basically revolved around our Orlando trip... because what could be more fun than that?!?

But there was also...

Pumpkin carving.

And Halloween... which apparently I didn't take many picture of.

(I think we had enough in our costumes from our Mickey Halloween party though. ;))

This is Lydia's "parade".  There was also her class party during the day.

Jadyn and her cute friends.

I also got to go see Kenna dance in her Halloween assembly on Halloween.
It was a busy, fun day!!

There were more GC football games...

And GC Volleyball games...

(I rode the bus down to the state tournament with them at UVU)

There was also the end of Lydia's volleyball season.

More GC Cheer Pictures.

A 90th Birthday celebration for Grandpa Falslev.

The USU Homecoming Parade.

LOTS of Apple pickin' at my parents

We got to pick Megan up at the airport and take her to the MTC.
She's going to be the cutest little missionary Arizona has ever seen!

We had our "fancy" traditional Halloween meals.
(minus the "mummy dogs" this year. ;))

Kenna and I went to breakfast @ stacked one day when she was off school.

And... baby Sadie Sue entered the world.
Jeff and Kimi you make cute babies!!

Thanks October!
