It's great to be 8!

July 25th Jadyn turned 8...

Why do they have to keep growing up?

Cuz I miss my chubby little babies!

But Jadyn was jumping for joy because turning 8 means she got to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints... and she was pretty excited about that!

1st she had a Birthday Party with her friends.

She always has several friends traveling over her birthday, but she was excited to have the ones there that could make it.

It was a DONUT party...

what do you do at a donut party?

Well... eat lots of donuts!

No cake just donuts...

(Jadyn's friend Aubree top left, is Hayden's sister.  Hayden is Tayler's boy so he came too... then left 4 days later on his mission to Chile... Tayler misses him... A LOT!) :)

And a super cute group of little friends.

The most exciting part of her party was definitely the train...

borrowed from our neighbor.

They spent a lot of time on the train!

Jadyn agreed that it was a super successful party. :)

Then our pretty little girl got ready for her baptism.

Picked out her white dress and went on a photo shoot with me.

The big day was August 2nd.

Gosh I am so thankful for wonderful family and friends. (pictured and not pictured)

So many came to support Jadyn on her special day.

 

I sure adore this family of mine.

I pray that Jadyn will always be grateful for her membership in this church.

And that she will never forget this day.

Or forget how loved she is.

by her parents, grandparents, sisters, etc.

and by all 67 people who were there to support her that day.

We'll love you forever Jadyn!!

It's definitely GREAT to be 8!
