Back to School again...

The kids are back in school...
so life is crazy again.  Not so much during the day.
But after school...
WOW!

The 1st day back looked like this...

Tayler is a Senior...
I'm in denial, there is no way she is that old!

Saige is a Sophomore.
And really excited to be going to High School!
And, very excited that Tayler gets to drive her everyday and she doesn't have to ride the bus!

Kenna started Middle School and is our cute little 6th grader.
I think 6th grade is a hard year because they are learning what REAL homework is and they have to learn to manage their time.
It doesn't help that she does every activity available + has several friends call her each day.
She's busy!

Jadyn is in 3rd Grade...
Gosh she is adorable.

Lydia and I went to the High School on the 1st day for their opening assembly.
So fun to be able to see Tay cheer + see Saige do her skit with the Sophomore class Presidency.

I thought Lydia would be sad about just the 2 of us at home.
But actually she loves her "alone time" with me.
She has lots planned out for us to do... games, books, dolls, polly pockets, etc. etc.

Sadly (for her) I had LOTS of peaches to deal with the 1st couple weeks...
we still had time to play but there was a lot of peach time too.
See that tree, that is so low to the ground that it blends in with the flowers?
This is probably after 3 bushels had been picked.
42 quarts later + a full freezer full of peaches + giving to family and friends we finally picked the last ones today!
Our poor little tree had a couple big branches break, but they sure are delicious!

Lydi and her ladybug are pretty much the cutest.

Finally this week Lydia started preschool.
She was more ready than me, she sure loves being back there!
She was quite concerned about what I was going to do for the 2 hours she was at school on that first day.
Not gonna lie, I was OK Lydia. haha :)

But at the same time, I"m definitely not ready for this little thing to grow up!

Unfortunately, "Back to School" seems to be coming faster and faster with every year!
