Kenna & Quincy's Wedding

What a beautiful day June 9th was.

From their sweet sealing to the reception every thing ran fairly smoothly.

There was that massive thunderstorm that rolled through about an hour before the reception started.

It POURED!

Thank Heavens for our indoor reception.

The storm hindered us from being upstairs on the patio because it was still wet... but the sun came out and all was well.

A few last minute changes and good attitudes and we made it work PERFECTLY!

We are ALL so happy to have had Quincy Wildman join our family!

That video pretty much sums up the day...

But... here's an overload of pictures to go with it...

Wow, that's a lot of pictures...
and no I did not use them all. ;)

The luncheon was beautiful and delicious.

A little memory of the "down pour"!

...and that... was a wrap on a big exciting, emotional, awesome day!!!

And my baby Kenna was off with her husband.
I was feeling all the emotions after that.
I'm going to miss having that girl around. :(

The cleanup @ the Annex was quick.
We were starving... so off to In and Out with Joe & Lisa @ 10 PM, where we ironically were in line right behind the Wildman's who had the same idea... and limited choices of places to go at that time. ;)

The cleanup from all the stuff we brought home from the Annex wasn't "quick" but not that bad.
You'd think I'd have been exhausted, but... I stayed up til 3... washing the table cloths, taking care of the cake, putting things away from the receptions, organizing all of our "returns" (to good people we'd borrowed from ) into piles.

Then Saturday morning I slept in.
Sent Shane around to deliver all those "returns",
and I had quite a relaxing day.

Phew... weddings are a lot of work.
I hope Kenna and Quincy's day turned out just how they'd dreamed.

In retrospect all of the stressing probably wasn't necessary.
But there was still a lot to plan to make the day run smoothly.

The whole day was absolutely beautiful.
They looked beautiful.
And the most beautiful part of the day was that they were sealed in the Temple.
I'm so proud of them and so happy for them.

It's overwhelming the amount of support that they... and our family were given.
So many people came, so many gifts were given, so much time was spent making this day extra special for our baby girl... who's all grown up I guess.

A huge shoutout to Joe and Lisa who spent the ENTIRE day + night, setting up, taking down, helping wherever they could. We love you guys!

I wish only the best for Kenna and Quincy.
But pray that when it's "not the best" they'll be there for each other.
And LOVE each other... truly LOVE each other.
I pray they will learn AND GROW together.
Most importantly I pray that they'll keep the Lord close in their marriage.
That's the best gift they could receive... and give each other.

...then there were only two girls left at home.
My mama heart REALLY hurts thinking about how strange and quiet that will feel in our house.
