January 2020

I'm pretty sure January had more like 45 days in the month than 31...
It seemed like a long one.

But we did fun stuff in January.

We got serious about our Come Follow Me study.
So far it's still been going great for us this year!

You could find Kenna and I in our "Comfies" most of the month.
(PS if you don't have one... you'd enjoy January much more WITH one.)

There were LOTS of Green Canyon Basketball Games.

Saige had more kids.
My sweet nieces Clara and Sadie... since their parents + siblings were on the Disney Cruise.

We all had such a good time with these cuties...

Shane had his 48th Birthday.

We had our Waffle Party in honor of Grandma Floris's Birthday.
One of my favorite traditions for one super special lady.

There were people there too... but the toppings will do. ;)

there was fun at Aggie Games.
Once again Saige had extra kids with her. haha

Kenna and all her besties.

And more fun with "Saige's kids"

This was the first year that Green Canyon Cheer "competed".
They entered a POM routine,
and worked SO hard.
Like hours and hours of practice,
+ early morning practices
+ after school practices.

And...
they killed it!

1st place in Region... and 1st place in STATE!

I think they looked pretty AWESOME!
Good job girls!

(And a huge shout out to Lisa, who came to BOTH the Region and State competitions with me + Joe who came to State!  How are we so blessed to have them as friends??

Lydia had her Chinese New Year Assembly.
(She's the 4th dragon holder)

And she made cute stuff like this in art.

There were more cute girls going to do baptisms with Jady.

We had to say goodbye to our Saigie who was off for another four months to Orlando.
Lydia made her this darling countdown.

And when the countdown was finished, there was weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.
For the entire car ride down.
Especially from these two...

Like ugly crying...

Saige quickly adjusted.
She loves her roommates.
And loves going to the parks everyday.
She's the cutest photo pass worker there ever was...

But... I am a little concerned with the 14 online credits she's taking. hahahaha
