April 2017

April had our road trip to Nauvoo,
Tayler and Jaden's engagement,
2 Dance Competitions,
Plus...

Easter

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend filled with amazing talks... aka General Conference.

Conference always involves LOTS of snacking, treats, chocolate etc. at our house.
This year I decided NO junk food, just fruits and veggies.

Shane was not very impressed. ;)
He called it "Health Conference" and admitted that he much prefers "Junk Conference".

There were soccer Games for Lydia...

Soccer games for Jadyn...

More time at the Tucson Temple for Shane.

This picture is hilarious.
When Lydia heard that Jaden was proposing to Tay, she made it clear that, "She didn't want a brother, because her friend Hudson has a brother and he hits him every day."

(Ironically Jaden and Lydia pick on each other and tease each other the most.)

So after a heated game of "Mustache Smash" they were all getting each other with their mustaches.
Only this picture makes it look like Big Jaden is trying to beat little Jadyn. hahaha
I sent this picture to them with the caption...
"I don't want a brother because they hit you everyday."
;););)

Saige had several golf matches in April, she had a fabulous season playing varsity for Sky View.

She surprised us, her coach and herself with how much improvement she made.

Just think how great she might have done if she had cared about golf before this month.... ;)

(And no she didn't hit the deer)

Terrell Baldwin is such a great coach for SV girls golf.
SO kind, SO supportive and about the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

I made Tayler a quilt with all her SV shirts.
My very first time having a quilt "quilted".
I love it!!
She loves it!!
I can't wait to make Saige's.

She's definitely not ready to give up her 25 SV shirts yet!. ;)

A day off school for Kenna meant breakfast with this cutie @ Stacked Pancakes.

Collin Heaps arrived home from the Budapest Hungary Mission.
He did such a great job at his homecoming!

Dinner @ pier 49 pizza after a dance competition.

Kenna ran for Freshman Class Officer at Green Canyon High School.
She's adorable.
They only took one from Spring Creek, and it wasn't her. But,  I'm sure glad she gave it a shot, and I hope she'll try again next year!

Greenville gave every family the classic "Charlotte's Web" to read together (such a cute idea!)
After our last "reading night" there was a party at school and these two dressed up as Wilbur.
Cutest little pigs I know!

We love Noelle! So happy that Jadyn has such a great friend!
(Side note: Jadyn is not happy with the new school boundaries for next year.  She will be moving to North Park for 6th grade, and Noelle will be staying at Greenville.  They are not pleased.)

April was a good month!
