San Francisco... Part 2

Our third morning in San Francisco we crossed the Bay Bridge to Oakland.
JC & Ashlyn Price were getting married in the Oakland Temple.
(Pretty much the reason why we came to San Francisco.)
We met JC through Josh, he's part of the "Sunday Funday" crew, we consider him and his brother Robert family!

Of course the girls explored the Temple grounds and Visitors' Center, while we attended the sealing.

Thanks for inviting us to share in your special day JC and Ashlyn, you make a great couple!

A wedding lunch in Vacaville...

Then a visit to the Jelly Belly factory.

Gosh we had a fun time here!

We loved their free tour where we learned all about the making of Jelly Belly's.
(This stop made all Kayla's dreams come true!) :)

We tried chocolate covered bacon.
I'd rather have bacon... or chocolate, not together.
But now that I think about it...
why were they selling chocolate covered bacon in the Jelly Belly Factory anyway??????

Ready for our tour...
With our "protective" hats that had to be worn at all time.
(No hair is going to fall out with that paper hat on!) ;)

I'll never look at Jelly Belly's the same + I'll always think of this fun day!

While Shane filled up the car, the girls and I stopped for pictures at this cute Pumpkin Patch.
And by the way dad... thanks for growing pumpkins for us.
This size pumpkin was considered jumbo...
and sold for $18... per pumpkin!  hahahahahahaha

Then we were off to my favorite part of the trip.
The Muir Woods.
I've wanted to take the fam to the Redwoods for forever.
The Redwood forest is 4 hours from San Fran so I knew no one would go for that, :(
but this was only an hour away!

And they were everything I'd dreamed of!

So gorgeous....
So peaceful...
So perfect!

We could have spent a very long time here...

It took longer than we thought to get there from where the luncheon/reception was.
Sadly we didn't make it back for the reception. :(
So we drove around the city for a bit looking for somewhere to eat.
Our GPS took us on a wild goose chase looking for Chipotle...
which was closed when we finally got there.
So we found another not too far away.... let's just say I wouldn't drive for an hour to eat at Chipotle again... but by the time we finally did eat it was delicious, we were starving!

We found the "Full House" houses.

Except none of them really knew what "Full house" was...
:):):):)

But they thought they were pretty houses!

The next morning we woke up, packed out and headed on our 12 hour road trip back home.
We had a blast in San Francisco.
We had a blast with the Astle's!

It was a pretty amazing few days!
