July 2015...

Hahahaha July?  July seems like a REALLY long time ago.  Oops! :)

July was busy...

Tayler's Birthday.
Kenna's Birthday.
Our Maui Trip.
Jadyn's Birthday.
Our Alaskan Cruise.

Like Shane spending another week working on the Tijuana LDS Temple.

Saige's week at EFY (Especially for Youth).

She did the stay-at-home week here at USU and went with her cute cousin Tara.
They had a great time together, met lots of new people, developed stronger testimonies of their Savior and bonded with each other.

And how cute is this?????

Berkley Pond is Melanie's cute girl.
Jonah Olson is Shelby's handsome boy.

They wanted to recreate our EFY picture from 24 years back. :)
How fun that they ended up there the same week and thought of this!!

I spent a week at Bear Lake with the girls.  (This was the week Shane was in Tiajuana).

For the first couple of days Kenna and Jadyn had their besties Noelle and Libby with them.
That first day was freezing! (for July hahaha)  Like this day at the pool was about 58 degrees.
They didn't care. hahaha

But we were glad it warmed up for the rest of the week!

One day Shelby came up with her daughter Avi for a few hours.

It was definitely NOT long enough.
We NEVER see each other and we live about 4 blocks away! hahaha.
On their way home we stopped for dinner at Zipz to see Tay.

The next day the Astle's came up.
Both Lisa & Joe and Josh & Kayla.
It's always a party when they are around!

Nice hair flip Saige. ;)

And do you think Josh can dive through this tiny tube?

Yep he made it!  hahahahaha
You'd have to see it to believe it!

O and the whole time Saige had her friend Megan with her.

And this took a while, but Jadyn finally attempted a front flip.
Then did about a million the rest of that day.

That night we went to Pickleville and saw the "Drowsy Chaperone."
We LOVED it.  The cast did an amazing job!
I would say if you haven't seen it you should go!
But then I should have posted this a month ago so you could go...
Closing night was a couple weeks ago. haha

We love Kenzie!  She's a crackup!

The Astle's slept over.
Josh fell asleep in the family room where we were all chatting.
Here's proof he's a sound sleeper...
I painted about 3 coats of "Del Sol" color changing polish on his nails.
And he didn't even budge.
hahaha

The next morning we rented jet skis.
The kids all had a blast!
(I'm including Josh, Kayla and Joe in the kids group haha).
+ Robert and JC who came up for the day.

Lisa and I had a great time on the beach.
But we went out for a picture to make it look like we were adventurous! ;)

Lydia is sure glad that Josh married Kayla.
Another big buddy to love!

We had a super great time together.
Sad that we had to pack up and head home after this.
But I was glad that I had extra hands to help me clean the condo! ;)
Thanks guys!

We missed Shane.
Sometimes when I am doing a post I feel a little guilty.
Like here Shane is off in some foreign country working his tail off for our family...
and the rest of us are off having fun somewhere without him.
He's reading the blog like all of the rest of you and surprised to see what went on when he wasn't there.  Sorry AND thanks Shane!

He got home early the next morning.
Just in time for the pancake breakfast at the park.
And the North Logan City Parade.
Cuz it was July 24th...
PIONEER DAY!

I love a good home-town parade.
Although I do appreciate those that put effort into a "float" or something cuz it just seems like all flat bed trucks and advertising lately.

But then again Tayler and I got asked to design a float and we both declined...
So I shouldn't complain!! haha

That's our cute Saige in the back of that "truck". haha

Shane took the girls to the festivities at the park.
I was busy unpacking and doing about 20 loads of laundry from Bear lake, preparing for Jadyn's Birthday the next day + packing for the Alaskan cruise the following day.

Some other random things this month were...
Cow appreciation day at Chick-fil-a. :)

And the pictures that the girls took from their adventures while we were on the cruise.
Thanks again Tayler and Saige for taking such good care of your little sisters.
You guys are going to make super good moms one day!!!
