We loved June.
Here are some of the reasons...
We rented "Carl".
I know some might think it's crazy to rent a puppy.
But 2 hours is all they need of a puppy every once in a while.
All of my girls (minus one) would love a puppy...
but I'm not so sure how much they'd love him when he's not a puppy anymore.
Jadyn would tell you that she wasn't nervous at all...
But the pictures and her actions tell a different story! bahahahaha
Pure entertainment and $ well spent!!
There was Girls Camp.
Shane's 7th year. :)
I can't believe Kenna was old enough/Tay too old to go this year.
That was weird for me!
Sadly camp was the same week as the dance review again.
Thanks to Shane who drove them the hour back and forth each day for cheer practice + dance review practice!
The next week was Cheer Camp for Saige.
So fun to see her perform!
She had a fantastic time.
And they already look really together as a team.
GO SV!
80's night was a success. :)
Some cute pics from their photoshoot.
Thanks to Noelle, Libby and Milly's (all of their besties) mom Amy for taking the little ones to the library kickoff party.
I know this is bad... but I hate that party, I try to pretend like I forgot about it every single year!
But the girls love it, so, THANKS Amy.
Looks like they had a fantastic time!
Gina came to town.
So glad that Mel, Shelb and I could meet up with her for a minute.
Gina lives in Kenya.
Her life is much more exciting than the rest of ours.
But after hearing stories, I think I'll just appreciate my simple life.
Always wonderful when the four of us get together!
Just like old times! :)
I had another birthday.
It happened to be the day that I spent packing for the family reunion at Bear Lake.
So I was glad that our family tradition is going to Cafe Sabor on the first night (in Bear Lake).
Cuz it's one of my favorites!
The next week Tayler took me on a "date".
To Red Lobster in Layton.
It was a super fun night, just the two of us.
Thanks Tay!!
Shane was off working on the Tijuana Temple that week.
He didn't have much success with the installation, they weren't ready, so he'll be back there soon.
But I think it's gorgeous!
And just because I think she is adorable...
There was the dance review.
And LOTS of super supportive family and friends who came each of the 3 nights.
+ 3 nights of "after dance review" treats.
We went to "Inside Out".
It was the cutest.
Can you tell which emotion each of them is playing.;)
Lydia has "disgust" down far too well!
Shaved ice... lots and lots of it!
Our little gardener... checked on her "crops" every chance she got!
And was super excited when her peas were finally ready!
There was Jordan's mission Homecoming in Idaho Falls.
Proud of you Jord, your talk was amazing!
What a good looking bunch of cousins you all are.
One day everyone was off doing other things except for me, Jadyn and Lydia.
Around dinner time Jadyn said, "you know mom I think noodles sound great for dinner."
me "OK, what kind of noodles Jady."
her "All kinds of noodles... like penne, fettucine, maybe even a piece of pizza and some salad..."
Then she started into that cute little giggle of hers.
So a date to Pizza Pie Cafe with these two it was. haha
My favorite thing about summer...
well sometimes I have no idea what day of the week it is.
That could be a bad thing, but mainly it just means there isn't enough stuff on the calendar to have to check it every couple hours and I LOVE that!!
