Lydia's 5th Birthday...

Where has 5 years gone?

I swear it was just yesterday that this squishy little baby entered our lives!

But now she is 5... and mighty proud of it!

She was SOOOOO looking forward to her birthday.

I think that poor kid has an unfortunate birthday.

December 29th.

Sorry Lydia.

Right when we have just gotten through the busy Christmas Season and want a BREAK!

Since November she has been asking about her "party" and what we'll be doing for her birthday... then all of December I tell her we'll talk about it after Christmas...

so December 26th she wants to go "birthday shopping", and get her party invites out. 

Yeah, not really in the mood!

But she's cute and super persistent so we went... and planned... and she was HAPPY!

On her birthday we had our family and "big" friends party.

Some pointed out that not many 5 year olds have quite so many "big friends".

It was rockin' :)

She is loved!

We've been hoping for some more. haha

The next day was her friend party.

We met at the JumpZone... played for an hour.

Then brought them back to our house for presents, cupcakes and ice cream.

Is it obvious that Lydia is not the tallest of her friends?

Granted she is the VERY youngest in her primary class but...

Then again Jadyn is 8 and looks like she is their same age hahaha

Such an adorable group of well-mannered kids though!
