Our last summer baby turned 5...

Little Jady was the last of our summer babies...
and on July 25th she celebrated her 5th Birthday!
Seriously... she is just too little and sweet and we are going to be sending that little one to Kindergarten this year... she's ready, but I'm not sure that I am!

Jadyn invited her friends over to play on the waterslide...
She was a good host who spent her time switching between the waterslide... and those  who thought the waterslide was too cold...
(I would have been in the above group)

There were presents...

A Pinata...
...cupcakes and ice cream...
And some serious wind... we lost one of our sun shades with a snapped arm and more than one child got bopped in the head with it as it blew away... but other than that I think everyone, especially Jadyn had a great time!

Later that night we invited family and friends over for a barbeque...

There were more presents...

Shane and Joe debuted this new favorite present of hers...

Truly the ONLY thing she actually asked for was a Justin Beiber barbie...
luckily I found one online. :)

But I shouldn't have worried about it that much, because when she wrote to her "missionary boys" Josh, Nate and Kyler she told them that her favorite present was...
"pencils, erasers and one pencil sharpener."
hmmmmmmm....

So technically it might not be Jadyn's "favorite"... but I think we will get plenty of use out of the see-saw.  Lydia wants to ride it... or any other playground equipment that is high and fast... (no fear in that baby!)  ALL.DAY.LONG!

There was another cake... chocolate of course and she passes on the ice cream... I wonder if it has anything to do with her milk phobia???

There were lots of her favorite people there...

(and more favorite people not pictured of course :))
Overall I think Jadyn had a pretty great birthday!

We love you Jadyn and are so happy that you are a part of our family.  Without you it just wouldn't be as much fun... and we certainly wouldn't have as many funny things to giggle at.

She tells us how it is, and then just gets on with it... I love that and a thousand other things about you Jadyn!

Happy Birthday!
