Drumroll Please.... It's a.....

Today was the big ultrasound!! Shane and I have no desire to be "surprised" at birth... we were too anxious to know what we were having. (Apparently so are several of my blogging friends! And the rest of the world... including random strangers who stop us and ask if we are "praying" for a boy.) We just need to be able to say one way or the other :)... Guaranteed my reasons are a little bit different than Shane's though... I'm ready to shop!! I can't stand being in a darling baby store... and not buying SOMETHING!! And wondering if I get to redecorate the room... Gotta admit I bought my first baby BOY thing ever... I was pretty sure that's what we were having... But... I returned it today... Since when Shane told the Ultrasound tech that he "really likes his girls'... and wouldn't be sad in the least if we had another one..." She replied with... "that's a good thing because you ARE having another one!"
Yep... it's a GIRL!!!

And none of us could be happier!! (I do know of a special few who might not be as happy as us... they were hoping for a boy so they could break into the "Girl Clothes Mecca" stored in 40 totes downstairs! Don't worry... I'm sure I'll have more to add to it for your future children!)

I think that "6 girls and their favorite guy" sounds like a fabulous FINAL title... don't you!!!

Beautiful news! I'm always told (and believe it coming from 6 girls) that girls come home to their mom's and boys go to their in-laws =)
What a blessing to be surrounded by your kids (and eventually son-in-laws and grandkids) in your home.

I'm thrilled. Even though I was one of those with my eyes on your stuff, I also was hoping that you would have 5 little girls. Its going to be so much fun!

Grandma and Grandpa are ecstatic, although Tony did admit he was hoping for a grandson. Can't wait to meet that new babe!
