We had Shane's family party today to celebrate Mother's Day. All of the siblings were there except Bill.... so Leslie his wife stood in for him.
SOME of the cousins!! This still boggles my mind! My parents were only children... thus I grew up with no aunts, no uncles and not one cousin. One generation later my children have over 50 cousins. The poor things will grow up like Shane.... Thursday at Costa Vida a guy came up to Shane and talked to him for a minute then asked him if he knew who he was. Shane had that look which said, "I have no idea..." turns out it was one of his FIRST cousins! I can count about 10 times that has happened in our marriage... bizarre!!

My husband doesn't know all his first cousins either, which blows my mind, but maybe that's just because I grew up so close to all of mine.
Loved the dandelion poem. And the photos of the girls are great! I'm shocked that you had no aunts, uncles or cousins. You poor thing! Good thing you married Shane.
