May... May is always crazy.
But May with a graduation is more crazy.
This May we were lucky to have TWO graduates.
May 3rd Kenna graduated from USU in Early Childhood Education.
Max loved it. haha
So proud of you Kenna!!!
Right after graduation we drove to St. George and made it late that Friday night.
Keaton was competing in the 1/2 Iron Man.
1.2 mile swim
56 mile bike ride
and 13.1 mile run
We were up bright and early to see him start his swim in Hurricane Reservoir and transition to the bike.
Then on to the run...
Keaton... you're a beast!
Fun at the park.
a little swimming in the Wursten's pool and hanging out for a bit.
Then the four of us were off for baptisms in the St. George and Red Cliffs Temples.
Followed by dinner and ice cream @ Handel's.
Sunday, we left around 11 and drove home.
It was a quick trip... but we were happy we could be there to support Keaton!
May 8th & 9th was State Golf for Jadyn @ Talons Cove in Saratoga Springs.
Her Senior pictures were supposed to be the night before so she didn't head down with her team earlier in the day. I took her down later that night... after bad weather meant the pictures were postponed anyway haha.
She stayed with her team and I got a hotel close by.
Jadyn's 4 some was the first group to tee off that morning.
She was off to a great start!!
She played great all day and ended with a 103.
She was fairly happy with that... but super happy that her team had played FANTASTIC and were higher up in the standings than they were predicting.
Shane headed home, Jadyn went off with her team and I drove SLOWLY to the car shop because my car was NOT being happy. haha
The next day Shane had his cousin Tracy... whose daughter is on the team... bring down his big trailer and they hauled my car home.
Nothing a couple thousand bucks couldn't fix. Grrrrr
But in better news... Jadyn played even better the second day.
She shot a 97... which was her PR by one stroke.
What a fantastic way to end the season!
Coach T
and GC finished with a 2nd place!!
A VERY close second place 3 strokes behind 1st place!
I would say they couldn't have been happier...
but they COULD have been happier with that 1st place. haha
But they all played well... are great girls and friends... and had a great time as a team.
Those are all 1st place qualities in my book!!
I loved supporting you in all your matches Jady.
I'm going to miss watching you play!!
Mia's Dance Review was the 18th.
She AND Tayler did great in their "mommy and me" dance.
Mia is ready for the big leagues next year.
She'll be a preschooler... what??
The next day was Mother's Day... big thanks to Shane and girls for spoiling me all day!
Happy we could get together to celebrate all the mothers.
Especially my sweet mama.
Northern Lights have been on my bucket list...
took these from my front yard.
So I guess... check. haha
The sky didn't look like this with the naked eye, but the pictures were crazy!!
Lydia is incredible at the piano.
I love to hear her play!!
Thanks for coming everyone!
Jadyn was absolutely STUNNING for Senior Ball.
Her date Thomas Stevens is in our ward... lots of fun friends made this a super fun last dance for her.

Seminary Graduation the next day.
You made it Jadyn... all those 1st hour classes you totally wanted to sluff... and did sluff multiple times haha. But you made it!!
And your better for it girl!!
The girls and I found Saige and Keaton at Karie Anne's one night in May...
Flowers on Grandma and Grandpa's grave before heading up to Bear Lake with Jeff's family for Memorial Day.
... and
Jadyn's Green Canyon Graduation was May 29th.
How did we get here so fast????
Wasn't it just yesterday I was fighting her in every public restroom to use an automatic flush toilet???
And now she's GRADUATED from High School!!!
And a few of her friends did too...
Way to go Class of 2024!
Oops... upside down haha
We had a Graduation dinner for her with the family.
Then she was off to celebrate to the wee hours of the morning with her friends.
May was great... and busy... and beautiful!
But time is flying far too quickly in my opinion.
