February 2024

The first week of February I got to spend with Tayler and family in Orlando.

That was my favorite part of February.

But there was also other fun stuff.

Like the Velocity Dance Convention/Competition in Layton with Lydia and a stay at the Hilton connected to the Convention Center.

There were about 5 other performances throughout the month too.

There was the super bowl... mainly lots of yummy food from my perspective.

I served on a Stake Relief Society Committee for our annual Stake Activity.
It was JUST for the breakfast + a speaker.
But get 8 ladies together... and it felt a LOT more intense than that.. ;)
Let's just say... attention to detail.
In truth it turned out beautiful, the food we all prepared was delicious and Michelle Craig our speaker was uplifting.  It was a fabulous morning.

The girls were off school for a few days so we all headed down to the GC State Quarterfinal Basketball Game @ UVU on the 26th.  They played great and one... sadly they last in the Semifinals the next day but they sure had a great run!

(Jadyn is over there in the front row of the students)

After the game we went to lunch @ the Happy Lamb... a "hot pot" restaurant.  It was good and fun and different.  I'm glad we tried it.  Then we were off for the girls and Shane to golf.  Doug Brown our nephew is the golf pro at a course near Toole so we drove out to that one so they could play with him.  It was cold... and windy.  I had planned on walking with them, but then they got carts... and there was only room for four... all great excuses for me to nap in the car. They had a good time... but I had a great time! ;)

Our little Max is getting big. He likes his mommy... and although he isn't too sad when she's gone... he let's us know that he hasn't forgotten her.. haha

There were lots of Aggie games...

Jadyn got a round of golf in at Eagle Mountain + spent LOTS of time @ Kyle Falslev's golf simulator this month.

It seems like we didn't do that much in February...
but I certainly was never bored. haha
