August started out with Lydia getting braces on...
Then both Lydia and Jadyn had a couple of days at Youth Conference.
Our ward had planned an amazing time for them.
Some of the highlights were... a visit with Elder Nash (Carly's Grandpa). Who took them up to the missionary department,, they got to go in the room where missionaries are called and hear stories of his experiences there.
They talked with people over the security of the church, went in the tunnels under Temple Square, saw the Temple Construction, visited 3 Temple grounds, had a tour of the MTC and stayed in airbnb houses.
It sounded like an incredible Youth Conference!
There was an outside movie night watching the Little Mermaid.
We found ONE Saturday that we were ALL around for this summer, so we planned a very short "Outside Day".
Which happened to be the same day that Bill was available to help Shane pour the concrete slab for our fire pit.
Lydia had a fun day at Hyrum Dam with her friends.
The girls helped Saige setup and prepare stuff for her new class room @ North Park Elementary.
Congrats to her on teaching first grade there this year!
And it's still so crazy to me that she's team teaching with my girl Shelby, gosh that is a full circle moment.
There was a camping night up Green Canyon for the "siblings" the same night that we had a HUGE thunderstorm. ;)
Baptisms with fabulous friends
Lydia had a piano recital.
She's so blessed to have so much support.
A lunch date at El Sol.
Thanks Mom and Dad!
Dance started back up...
Keaton and Saige had these two over for a "sleepover".
Looks like they hung out on the roof haha
There was back to School night @ North Cache for Lydia.
(We took a couple of friends along with us too.)
School started!
Can't believe it's this girls Senior year!
that night Jady got asked to Homecoming...
Twice in 10 minutes.
Tayler and Jaden moved out of their condo into their beautiful new home.
Many hands make light work, we did it pretty quick!
Random drives...
Avery and Lydia had a smore night in their Comfee's.
And Saige and Keaton had these guys over AGAIN for a sleepover + the Wegener kids.
Thanks for being so awesome guys!
And once again the ONLY pictures taken were on the roof.
I'm gonna have to ask them about that...
Summer absolutely FLEW by!!
I like the structure of school starting back up, but I sure do love those super late summer nights and sleeping in!
