Christmas Eve is always a joy!
A delicious dinner...
I found Tayler's first Christmas outfit.
I'm so glad she had miss Mia wear it too.
It's so funny because in some pictures I think she looks JUST like Tayler... but in the one above I definitely see more of Jaden in her!
Playing Chimes together will always be a favorite for us.
No pictures, just a video that I can't get to load on here. grrr
Acting out the nativity is always a treat.
This year Mia was baby Jesus...
she was so calm and angelic.
She never made a peep, just looked around and listened.
I felt the Spirit of Christ's birth... of him coming as a precious baby... full of innocence and hope... while looking in her eyes.
It was my favorite memory of Christmas this year.
Christmas PJs this year included our cruise shirts.
We are all SOOOO excited for the Disney Cruise.
And we are ALL praying that everything goes well with COVID tests for 22 of us, the craziness of the world etc. etc.
(I realize that I've set this to post well after the cruise is over... so we'll know by the time this is posted if it all went well!!)
We love you Grandma Kathie and Papa Tony.
Some of our very best memories come from being with the two of you on the Disney Cruises you so generously take us on!
Our happy little bat
The 5 of us at home had a quiet Christmas Eve after everyone left.
We played Monopoly... with only a couple of tears.
Heard Santa's bells in our yard warning us to get to bed.
Made some cookies for Santa.
And the girls all slept in Jadyn's room.
CHRISTMAS MORNING
Before the kids look at ANYTHING Santa brought them...
they search for the pickle that Santa hides in the tree.
It sounds silly... but it definitely blends in and it's a HUNT... filled with a little bit of resentment from the girls who didn't find it. haha
Jadyn found it this year... and pocketed $50 that Santa left for the find.
We must have been in the moment Christmas morning... cuz none of us have any pictures from Christmas morning besides this one.
But I can attest to the fact that the girls were happy with their haul from Santa.
The rest of the morning we chilled and played monopoly again until we went to my parents for lunch and presents @ 1:30.
I love these people!!
We saved all our Christmas presents to open after we got home from my parents around 4.
I'm so grateful that my kids are willing to split their time between us and in-laws.
I know it's not easy, but both families appreciate sharing all our traditions with our WHOLE family!!
Don't ever move away from me please!!
Christmas was beautiful!
I feel so grateful.
