September started with Saige and Keaton having their first day of Utah State.
Most classes are on zoom, but they do have a couple in person classes... but not together. haha
We had our much anticipated "Mulan viewing party".
Yummy food and a pretty good movie.
Actually we had mixed reviews on the movie. I quite liked it... others didn't feel the same.
Back awhile ago there was a big hailstorm... and although I'm not positive we REALLY had enough damage to warrant it... insurance paid for new shingles.
I was dreading how loud and messy and long it was going to be.
Amazingly, they removed the shingles AND replaced them... in only one LOUD day!
And then we had a HUGE windstorm... and woke up to 2 of our neighbors annoying willow trees crushing our poor little peach tree.
But she's still there.
It might take a while for her to get back to her glory days, but she's a survivor. ;)
We spent a couple days at Bear Lake over Labor Day.
What's a pool day with out George Washington hair? haha
Of course had to have Zipz for lunch on their closing day!
Jaden ran a marathon... an entire 26.2 miles.
He had a pretty great support system there to cheer him on at the finish line on that rainy morning.
Good work Jaden!
We did some harvesting...
Those are some big beets girls!
And some bottling...
I finished more quilts.
This one... plus two more that I can't post since they're Christmas gifts haha
Lydia lost her 2nd tooth in 2 days.
This one while eating her lucky charms.
Lydia is busy with soccer. She's on a much more competitive team and loves it!
PS mama... obviously you thought you weren't in this picture? Or maybe you were just "social distancing". haha
We forgot Grandparents Day :(
But made up for it the next week.
We love both of you so much!
September was filled with lots of Green Canyon Football games and watching this cute girl cheer them on.
PS Lydia LOVES football games. haha
Homecoming week was definitely a success.
Many events were not sponsored by the school... but by moms or other groups.
Even through the craziness it was a pretty normal Homecoming week and I was REALLY grateful for that for Kenna's Senior Year.
There was Senior Sunrise for Kenna.
Colorfest for both of my cute high schoolers...
Dress up days like tropical tuesday and pajama day.
Jadyn is our dress up girl now.
PS Jadyn has great friends.. great friends who hang out almost EVERYDAY she's definitely a social one!
Kenna played in the PowderPuff Game.
What a fun night!
She loved it + won so what could be better?
September was a good one.
Time just keeps marching on.
I'd really love to stop it!!
