December 2019

December 2019 looked like this...

Lots of Green Canyon cheer fun.

We went to SLC for the First Presidency Christmas Devotional + saw the lights @ Temple Square.

The girls decorated gingerbread houses.

Lydia had an orchestra concert.

She also had a piano recital.

and there were plenty of soccer games.

Jadyn and Lydia had their Tueller Winter Showcase.

Lydia did more hanging out with Saige and her "kids" ;)
This particular kid did NOT enjoy his visit with Santa.

We had our neighborhood caroling and spoons tournament.

This year we visited the nursing home for the caroling portion.

We had our annual dinner/game night with the Olson's and Pond's.
Sadly we didn't get a photo while Shelby's family was still there. :(

We had our Random Acts of Kindness night.

Went to Aggie Games.

I helped with Lydia's class party.

These two visited with Santa @ the Falslev Family Party.

We went to church ;)

and sent out Christmas cards.

We slept under the tree.

and played in the snow.

and Josh and Kayla took the girls ice skating.

We did it all basically.
December seems to be the busiest month of the year.
But it's filled with all kinds of awesomeness along the way!

Lydia's 10th Birthday

My baby is in double digits...
WHAT???!!!!

I don't like it.
I don't like it at all.

But it's true...

She had a fun party thanks to Jadyn and her friend Carly...
They played games with them and by the time I came down to check they'd even had cake... without ice cream because they didn't know if I'd planned on that.
Lydia is pretty easy going... she didn't care at all. haha

Then there was more fun on her actual birthday.
As much fun as you can have when your birthday is on a Sunday. haha

Her primary teachers made her this cookie.

And this time she had candles in her cupcake. ;)

We all love this cute little thing!
Life would never be the same without her.
Happy Birthday Lydia!

Christmas 2019

Christmas Eve is my favorite day of the year.

Fun with family,
a great dinner,
Christmas excitement from the kids,
traditions
and reflections on our Savior's birth.

What could be better?

(I was just looking at the picture thinking who are those two girls I don't know... and I remembered that the sister missionaries joined us.  Saige had been asked in her ward to take them dinner... what?  On Christmas Eve? So of course we invited them here... I couldn't believe someone hadn't already.  It was perfect, they brought the Spirit and shared a sweet Christmas message with us.  Thanks Saige for signing up to feed the missionaries!)

New Christmas jammies.

Sometimes Lydia doesn't want to get in pictures...

and then when she does... we get stuff like this.

We had fun with Simon again this year.
Lydia loved that she got to hold him on Christmas Eve when his magic was lifted for a little bit.

Christmas morning excitement!

I love how much my girls love each other.
They all work hard finding those special gifts for each other.
This year Lydia wrote us all stories, it was darling.

After all of our family gifts we head up to Grandma and Papa's to exchange our sibling and cousin gifts.

And then we are all exhausted and ready for a nap!
(Maybe I'm only speaking for me here...)

Merry Christmas!!!!
