To say our girls were excited about the Disney Cruise would be an understatement.
I put a countdown on my phone from the cruise ap a full year early.
And it feels like every week for the last 52, either Lydia or Jadyn asked me how many more days. :)
But of course time flies and before we knew it we were down to this many...
And then, we were on our way to Florida!
Thanks Lisa and Joe for the darling backpacks!
We were so happy to meet up with Saige (who had already made it to the hotel with her earlier flight from JFK). + Shelly and kids who had come from Minnesota.
The next morning Lydia pulled out... well pushed out with her tongue because it was SO loose her 4th tooth. And yes, the tooth fairy found us on the cruise!!
We took a transfer to Port Canaveral, and heard some blood curdling screams of excitement at the first glimpse of the Disney Fantasy...
What an awesome week we had ahead of us!!
Once onboard we headed straight for the buffet.
I only ate crab legs and shrimp for lunch EVERYDAY.
Pure... HEAVEN!!
(I could go for some of those right now...)
Then of course there was ice cream.
Lots and lots of ice cream!
A day of exploring the ship.
Enjoying the "Sailing Away" party.
Meeting old friends.
Enjoying our first of many Mickey Bars.
Lots of cheesy pictures at all the "photo spots".
(We paid for the package + our girls LOVE pictures so... WIN WIN)
Day 2 was a sea day and it looked like this...
It started with our "Disney Junior Character Breakfast".
Then off to see more characters and get Lydi and Jadyn's book signed.
Lots of random activities on the ship, Disney trivia games, activities for Lydia and Jadyn in their clubs and some time in the sun (although the first day there wasn't much sun... but definitely warmer than Utah so we couldn't complain!)
The kids LOVED the "Aquaduck".
Lydia was terrified at first...
one of the workers told her to tell them at the start to put it on the "slow" setting.
That helped calm her down some.
I think she asked for the "slow" setting the first two times. After that she absolutely LOVED it and wanted to go again and again... on the "fast" setting of course.
It was funny how she, "couldn't tell much of a difference between the slow and fast actually."
;););););)
Who did it better???
:)
Lydia adores him... ;)
...and that was only the first two days!
