Our baby is 8.
I remember Shane's sister Marilyn saying to me at her youngest sons baptism that...
"before I knew it my last child would be getting baptized."
In my mind I laughed at that.
Marilyn was "old" to me at the time, this was her 9th child's baptism.
Tayler was probably 3 or 4 so we were just starting our little family.
Yet here I am 17 years later, with my last child baptized.
Marilyn has about 25 grandchildren now, yet she doesn't seem nearly as "old" as I thought she was back then.
I told her that story at our sweet Lydia's baptism, and guess what she told me???
"Before you know it you'll have 25 grandkids Ang."
And guess what... I laughed again.
Funny how life does that to us.
So it's time for me to appreciate my cute family just as they are right now.
Lydia's Birthday, started out with breakfast made by her sister Jadyn.
after breakfast she anxiously awaited her friend party.
She had lots of cute little friends, there could have been more but it's Christmas break + some moms didn't see the invite in the backpacks until it was time to head back to school. haha
But there were plenty and she was happy.
(And I was happy that I picked such an easy birthday party!)
She got to pick her dinner spot.
Of course it was HER favorite... Pizza Pie Cafe.
Not sure what we did the rest of the night...
Her baptism was the following week, January 6th 2018.
What a special day to celebrate her.
So proud of her decision to baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
We are so grateful for the awesome support that our family and friends always show to us!
Breakfast at the North Logan Library after.
We love you Lydia!!
8 is definitely GREAT!!
