December 2017

December 2017 looked like this...

We saw Santa

Went to Aggie games

Had our annual neighborhood caroling/spoons tournament

The adult & kid tournament winners.
Yay Jady!

Kenna went with the YM/YW to Salt Lake to see the lights.
They stopped at the Brigham Temple for baptisms first.

We spent 3 different weekends down in Salt Lake... we had "free hotel nights" expiring.

The first weekend in Draper.

We tried out Luminaria @ Thanksgiving Point.
It was a cold night, but the lights were incredible!

and the Savior of the world exhibit was gorgeous.

After Luminaria we drove around Draper with a google map of all the awesome "home" light displays.
That was so fun, and some of those displays are incredible!!

This is Draper city's "tree of life".

there was swimming...
(Clearly Lydia was not happy at this moment???)

The next morning we went to Thanksgiving Point's "Museum of Natural Curiosity".
What a fun place!  The girls LOVED it!

Then on to Scheels for a ferris wheel ride.

And Ikea...

Another weekend Tayler and Jaden came with us

Shopping at City Creek...

Lights at Temple Square...

Swimming...

And Music and the Spoken work the next morning.

Our sneaky elf Simon hid from us EVERYDAY from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve.

We sent letters to Santa.

I love this one Lydia made in school about "why" she should be on the nice list. haha

She also wrote letters to her sister like this. ;)

There was the Falslev Christmas party in Benson.

Our annual Random Acts of Kindness day with the Astle's.

Kenna was "Student of the Month" at Green Canyon.
She landed us a super yummy lunch for her hard work.
What an awesome girl she is!!!!

Saige came home for six fantastic days!!
Gosh, we miss having her around all the time.

She made it back just in time to watch her sisters in Tuellers "Winter Showcase."

We had our annual "sleep under the tree night".

Tayler and Jaden took the girls sledding over Christmas break.

Lydia got her ears pierced.
That was NOT a fun experience.
I felt abusive holding her down for the second ear. :(
YIKES!!!!

December was awesome.
And jam-packed as usual!

There is one thing that we won't miss about December.
It's that January brought us 10 am church.
The past six months with 8 am church have been rough...
