A happy heart...

There's a lot of things that make my heart happy...
and about 95% of them involve my family.

Things like...

Having my parents over for dinner to celebrate "Grandparents Day".

Having super helpful kids, like Jady who LOVES to wash the dishes, does some almost everyday...

Real safely... Like this...

I suggest every time that she pull up a bar stool,
but she likes it this way,
and she's doing the dishes so...
have at it girl!

And when Shane comes home early from work and Lydia is soooo excited that someone will finally have a tea party with her!

Or that time everyday when Lydi and I get the mail, and she tells me that she doesn't need any help, and I follow behind picking up what she drops...

And how she has learned to write her name at "Crayon Corner Preschool".
Be still my heart!

And how she was so super excited to be "Super Star" at preschool AND bring her best friend and cousin Trey home to play with her for hours.  So very happy they live here now.

Oh, by the way.  Need a new dentist?  Call my brother...  Dr. Jeff Wegener... he's accepting new patients. :)

Nothing cuter than these two playing together!

"

But story time comes pretty close.

And "snacktime" with sisters after school.

And when Jadyn held this puppy...
anyone know Jady?  Cuz she doesn't hold puppies!
Good job Jadyn!

And when Lydia picks me flowers...
straight from the yard...
roots and all.
and I say, "o, we usually don't pick flowers from the yard, but..."
Then I see that cute, "super excited to give a gift"  face get a little nervous and I tell her she can pick me flowers anytime...

Just because she is that adorable...

So happy she gets to come with me to see Tay in the pep rally's.

And that our "family nights" look a little like this sometimes...

And when Kenna made that "game winning" serve in her volleyball game last week... that was actually her last "8 perfect serves" that won the match!!!

And that there are cute big sisters to take a minute to teach the younger ones how to catch the first snowflakes of the year on their tongues.

So thankful that my children are healthy...

...that they have super awesome friends...

And that we're a Forever Family.

I have a happy heart today.

So excited for a weekend filled with beautiful messages from our prophet and leaders at General Conference.

Last week during visits to see Shane's sweet 85 year-old momma at Sunshine Terrace...

She said this...
"There's so much in this world to live for, it's just fun to be alive!"

She has a happy heart, so grateful for her example to my girls!!
