It's well past Halloween I know...
The snow is falling this morning and I am super happy that it was a toasty warm Halloween this year.
I'm a burned out mother who looked at her little 2 year old this Halloween and thought about how many years I still have to figure out costumes... parties... trick or treating...
Then my little stinker Tay told me it was OK she'd just take Lydia with her and her kids trick-or-treating so she is not deprived.
The her and "her kids" part was NOT very funny!!
Of course I shouldn't be wishing time away, and I'm really not.
I just used to be that mother that started planning and sewing costumes for my little girls in July, had professional Halloween pics done, etc.
Yeah now I just send them down to see what we have in the "costume closet", tell them to call their friends/cousin to borrow stuff, and visit Halloween city the night before for anything else they need. (and all we needed was a pair of glasses and orange hair spray!) :)
This year we had...
a "not wanting pictures" ladybug.
a 50's girl (but she called herself a poodle girl).
A cute little witch...
Pebbles...
And Waldo...
A pretty cute bunch I think. :)
I spent the day helping with Jadyn and Kenna's class parties. Then after school we visited the nursing home, Lee's, went to the ward trunk-or-treat...
visited Grandparents, drove kids around to their parties, trick-or-treated a little. And came home with WAY too much candy!!
A totally successful Halloween!

Love their costumes! The girls are just so cute! Funny thing....I made the exact same costume Lydia is wearing when Katelyn was little!
