Summer is birthday time for us.
And the 1st week of July is a pretty busy one.
July 1st, Tayler turned 15...
I'm not sure how, but she assures me it is true.
She had a party with some of her besties.
They roasted hot dogs, ate smores, played minute-to-win-it games...
Ate krispy kreme donuts for their "cake".
And laughed a stinkin' lot.
So grateful for good friends.
July 3rd was Kenna's 9th Birthday.
She had a little party with her besties too.
And opted for an "all-girl party". Which cut her guest list down considerably!!
They colored hot rocks, tye-dyed shirts...
played 6's...
Painted nails...
And had a yummy "reeses cake"... Kenna's favorite.
So thankful for all Kenna's cute friends too.
That night we went to the city fireworks. (After having our family pictures.) And Kenna finally opened her family presents from us at around 11:30 PM.
July 4th we celebrated "America's Birthday". :)
Started out great with our favorite scout "pancake breakfast".
Continued with fun in the sun and a little cooling off.
Then a family BBQ to celebrate all 3 birthdays. :)
(Tayler's best birthday gift was getting those braces of hers off.)
We finished the night with some sparklers.
A busy and fun week.
The other day Jadyn told me that her primary teacher told her that... "they had to fight really hard so we could have the fireworks that we went to."
It made me smile when I finally figured out what she meant.
Happy Birthday!!
