It was Birthday week at our house last week... Tayler has now jumped us into the scary world of teenagers... for the next 19 years we will have teenage daughters at our house. My mom thinks I deserve a little back for my few years of sweetness... but 19 years seems a bit extreme!!!
However 8 days into the teenage years and we still have peace at our house... so we will see!
Tayler is a hoot, she decided she wanted to have a "random" friend party???? I too wondered what one does at a "random" party... She invited 24 or her closest friends (Tayler has always been one who doesn't want to leave anyone out -but LOTS were out of town this year).
And this is what she came up with for her "Random Party"....
Eat a spaghetti dinner with no utensils...
Make duct tape bracelets and tye-die socks...
And by the way Tayler was really excited that she got her braces on this week... hehehehehehe. I told her that was her birthday gift... she wasn't impressed! Especially since Saige got hers OFF the very next day. Although she'll need them back on in a few months for "Phase 2". That is slang for "we want to take them all the way off, so we can charge you again to put them back on." But back to the party...
They played games like Hablo Chancho and Ninja Attack... If you are wondering what those are, I don't really know either. :)
She opened presents...
Had Creamies and finished the night out with Night Games, like Capture the flag. I think she had a great time at her "Random Party"! She is one cute and happy little teenager!
She was a good sport and had her party the day before her Birthday so that we could attend the blessing of Luke and Nikki's baby Carlos the next night. (My great nephew :)) So on her real birthday we went to that, ate dinner at Maddox and then dropped the kids off at home and Shane and I went to Eclipse. By the time we got home it was 11:30 and we still hadn't opened presents... We were able to sneak it in right before it was her B-day no more!!
The next day we had Kenna's 7th B-day Party... It was a no stress-let somebody else take care of everything affair! I loved it and the kids all had a blast. We went to the Sports Academy's Tumbling Gym... and they ran and jumped and played, and especially LOVED the zipline that each of them did over and over again.
They were a fun group of kids...
After an hour of that they were pooped... check out those red faces! Although it doesn't help that I was setting the lighting on the camera and all the blood is running to their heads!! :)
They were happy when I let them hang like this instead!
Kenna opened presents...
Had cake and ice cream...
Went on a scavenger hunt and played a couple of games. And I did nothing but take pictures!! We sure do love you Kenna!!
And then I have to throw in that Lydia had her 1/2 birthday on June 29th.... Where have the last 6 months gone to????
She is still our little bitty Lydi, weighing in at 14 lbs 11 oz (30 %) and 24 1/2 long (15%). What a joy each of our daughters are... I'll take those next 19 years of teenage craziness and try to appreciate it all!!

Tay is such an amazing girl! Thanks again for coming to the baby blessing for us!! She's so thoughtful :) Her party sounds like it was so much fun! And it looks like you had a blast for Kenna's party too! All your girls are so sweet and I'm sure you won't have too many "nasty" teenage moments with them :)
What beautiful daughters. They ARE growing up so fast!! Welcome to the teenage years, I've had one for three years!
What fun parties. Can't believe Tayler is a teenager already!
