I'm guessing that this is pretty much every pre-teens idea of a good time... getting to wear this little number to bed every night for the next 6 months to a year. I'll tell you Saige is pretty excited about it!! (can you tell)
This is to correct her overbite and the reason she has had braces on her top teeth for the last few months. I know I'm a mean mom for posting this... but I told her that if we are paying that much to fix her teeth... then I'm at least going to have a good laugh about it!!!

What we put our kids through to have beautiful teeth. Sammy had to have an expander. Every night I would crank it so her mouth would widen. The first couple of times I felt so bad as I saw her wince in pain. Thankfully the pain eventually stopped. Now she has her braces off and a beautiful straight smile.
Holy face contraption!!!!! Tell Saige that I'm feeling her pain!!! I had a headgear, but nothing like that. Wow.... just wow...
That's some kind of new-fangled orthodontic gear. Is it the new apparatus to replace head-gear? Tell Saige not to feel too badly. I knew kids who had to wear their head-gear to school. Tell her that I think she's cute no matter what she has to wear strapped to her face!
