November seemed to fly by this year for me, how did December come so fast????
Cute Sydney was baptized on the 4th
Sweet little Max was blessed on the 5th.
What a joy and blessing he is!
There were Aggie Games...
Jadyn looked absolutely stunning for Sadie's!
The theme was Old Hollywood.
Grandma let her borrow her genuine fox fur coat... so of course they needed a fur picture together.
Lauson Goddard was a lucky guy to have Jady as his date.
Jaden did an IronMan in Phoenix the weekend before Thanksgiving.
It's baffling to me WHY someone wants to do that + incredible he DID!
That's a 2.4 mile swim +
112 mile bike ride +
running a full marathon -26.2 miles.
I'd die.
So impressive Jaden!
An epic Thanksgiving with 42 of us!
Tayler's idea of the "shirt prank" was one of the best parts of the day.
The idea being that all the guys show up in the same shirt.
Since each of the husbands are different... some didn't like the new shirt their wife had got them.
Most had to have lies of "why" they needed to wear that new shirt.
But I knew it wouldn't be a problem with Shane. ;)
I just took the tags off and hung it in the closet.
Then Jadyn asked him what he was going to wear and he said he didn't know yet.
She pulled out his "new shirt" and said, "how about this one I don't think I've seen you wear it in a while?"
His response... "Ok, it has been a minute."
Bahahahahahaha
Thanks for being good sports you 12!
The wives couldn't stop laughing every time they looked at their phones and saw the texts coming in of how it was all working all morning.
Thanksgiving 2023 was filled with delicious food of course, a beautiful day with family and a whole lot of laughs!
Games with the "Wegener's" that's Andy and Jeff's families at our house Thanksgiving night (+ Meg who we all adore.)
There were adventures as per usual getting the tree the day after Thanksgiving.
Actually three trees to be exact.
It could have been four...
but Tayler and Jaden have opted for a fake tree in their new tall family room. {gasp}
Since the weather was super windy and cold that morning, they decided not to come with us cuz of the very valid excuse I l always loved to use... a new baby. ;)
I was grateful to find that there was no wind where we get our trees and the temperature wasn't too bad.
There also wasn't much snow... which leads to different problems.
With lots of snow you do a lot of sinking to your knees, but the landing is fairly soft.
With little snow there are more hazards... covered enough to not see them, but not covered enough to not trip on them + they really hurt when you land.
And that's me just "walking"... the ones carrying the trees and being dragged down the mountain could really speak of it. haha
That's a pretty perfect Christmas tree right there!
Saturday was a "Girls Matinee @ the Nutcracker".
First lunch at Stacked.
Then Mia's new favorite spot in town... Anderson's Seed.
They have their store decorated so cute.
Between the sleigh and the truck and the train... she was in North Pole heaven.
We all had a great time @ the Nutcracker.
Mia loved it, but did fall asleep near the end.
I've never really thought about it, but Tayler had talked to her about how there wouldn't be any talking in it. They just tell the story through dancing. But I still heard her ask if they were never going to talk. haha

Jayne was a darling little Gingersnap (formerly known as a clown).
It was so fun to watch her!
Mia thinks Jayne is pretty great.
Such a great afternoon together.
What a handsome little happy man Max is + a gorgeous aunt!
November was quick and packed with family fun.
A perfect month to Give Thanks for all we have.
