September 2021

September means we are all back in a routine.

I'm always sad when summer ends... but glad for the structure too.

September was filled with lots of fun...

There was "a sister date" to the Jonas Brothers Concert.

They had a blast + fan girled like crazy!

We all drove up to the Pocatello Temple Open House.

Shane was invited (by the company he contracts with for the floors)...  to come for the "friends/family of the workers tour" he didn't work on this one, but we went.;)

There were a few days of Baptisms in the Logan Temple.

How fun for Kenna to have some of her favorite missionaries join us.

And we're grateful for Jadyn's friends too... cuz we always need boys to help us with our names!

We had fun @ Berkley Pond's wedding reception.

What a special day to celebrate a cute couple.

There was a 4-wheeler ride for these 5 to Willard Peak.

Shane spent a couple weeks working on the San Diego Temple.

I finished LOTS of projects in those two weeks... I had the quilt tops done for these 5 quilts using all my scraps, and I learned how to use my "free motion quilter" that Shane gave me for my birthday.  So I quilted all 5 "picnic quilts" and bound them.

I painted my Laundry Room/Mud Room/Bathroom.

It wasn't easy, there was SOOO much to tape.  I used 2.5 rolls of painters tape... but I LOVE the results, it's so much brighter than the red was!!

Jadyn had lots of fun participating in all her "Homecoming Week Activities".

There were several soccer games for our little Lydi.

Isn't she so cute!!

I can NOT believe my baby is in 6th grade!

There was Grandparents Day... we are so grateful for 2 of the best!

Thanks to both of them for the yummy dinner @ Kabuki's.

Saige and Keaton took Lydia to the rock climbing gym.

She loves hanging out with those guys!

Because I watch Princess Mia 1.5 days a week we get lots of snuggle time.

What a sweetheart she is!

We've never gone to the "Kokanee Salmon run" @ Porcupine Dam... but we went this year.

It was fascinating + the leaves were gorgeous... so a win win!

September was perfect all month long!!

August 2021

August was a fun one.

I took these cute kids down to Ogden for a night of fun @ Fat Cats and Farr Better Ice Cream.

Lydia had a Night Games and Movie night with her friends in our backyard.
Our projector and screen have been lots of fun this summer!

Shane took these three to the Cache County Fair while I was in Cabo.

Jordan and Cassity Sparks were sealed in the Ogden Temple.  It was a beautiful ceremony... but not such a beautiful night. haha  It was raining SOOO hard and I definitely wish I had videoed the frantic run for all of us getting into the Temple.  We were soaked!!!!

Back to Farr Better for a needed treat after. ;)

We drove down to Raegan's 1st Birthday party in Syracuse. (Paige and Buck's daughter)

We then made it a full night with a stop @ Station Park then to  Boondocks for some fun... Shane had free tickets he'd been given when he worked there once. Cute Kate and Syd came with us for the night.

Lydia loves her stuffed animals.  She rotates through which one gets to sleep with her each night.  But apparently this night was a BIG sleepover night cuz I found her bed like this the next morning.  I asked her if she had actually slept in there too.  And yes she had. haha  That doesn't look super comfy to me!

Finding a time to schedule activities all together is not easy.

Pickleville to watch Peter Pan was one of them, Tayler and Jaden went at the original time we had planned.  But we changed ours because our main purpose in going was that Lydia has a massive crush on "Michael" and he wasn't in the show the night we originally booked. ;)

It was a cute performance and here's "Michael" from Peter Pan also known as Hayden Davis... Saige tends his family lots and Lydia finds any excuse she can to get to "hang out" with Saige when she is tending this family.  hahahahaha

Jadyn started her Sophomore year @ Green Canyon.
What a beauty our Jady is!

Lydia started 6th grade... wow.

We all remember how old we thought we were in 6th grade... Lydia feels just as old.

I sure love her!

My girls are always so supportive of each other.
I love it!

First day of school treats from Saige.

A couple weeks later Kenna started USU... in the Business Department.

Yikes... I hate my girls growing up so fast!

More sweet treats from Saige for Kenny's 1st day.

Saige is in her last semester, doing her student teaching in 5th grade @ Edith Bowen.
She LOVES it... and the kids LOVE her of course.

Keaton is in his last year too... Finance.
Keaton sure is a great guy to have around... always happy, always positive and super willing to help wherever he is needed.

Another activity that took some work to get us all together.

LAGOON!

The first time we tried back in June... Jadyn had her 2nd COVID shot the day before, she spent the next 48  hours sick in bed with the stomach flu.

So we rescheduled, then rescheduled again.  But we finally made it.

We sure love sweet baby Mia at our house.

Nana doesn't much love Mia and her Daddy's Party trick.
But.. she's pretty good at it... and he hasn't dropped her yet, so...

August was a good one...
It was full of fun, hot weather, smoky air and pretty awesome!
