February 2018

The first day of February started out with Kelsee Carlsen and Saige Nyman's Wedding.
What a fabulous day!
So grateful for good friends and grateful Kels found such a great guy.

Unfortunately no pics of the bride and groom... oops!

These two little cuties were awesome helpers with the yummy treats.

We had our annual Valentine's Day Fondue dinner. (Not on Valentine's haha)

We went to Aggie Games.

Spent an afternoon at the Fun Park...
Lydia and Jadyn were in heaven!  hahaha

Had a mommy/daughter facial with Kenna @ YW's.

Lydia got to visit Krispy Kreme for Activity Days.

Tayler and Jaden took these two to Cherry Peak for our Stake Ski Night.

Shane took them to our Ward Ski Night at Beaver.

There were more basketball games for Lydia.
+ These two cute cousins swept the 1st-2nd grade Fun Shot Tournament.

They're proud owners of new basketballs!

Dance performances started up.
Gosh she's adorable!!

Kenna too ;)
(Jady you too, not sure why I didn't have a pic of you dancing this month!)

Shane was home for a total of 6 days in February.

He spent, two weeks in the Dominican Republic...

and two weeks in Panama.

February was a good one.

January 2018

Besides Lydia's baptism and our Disney Cruise, January looked like this...

Lydia played basketball.. she's our first one to try it and she had fun.
She held her own being the only girl on a team of 10 boys.
Go Lydia!!

Shane turned 46.

Our yad looked like this all month.

And we had fun at Aggie games with cousins.

And that sums of January! hahahahaha
I really don't like January... but I sure like how calm it was!!

Disney Cruise 2018 Part 4

Castaway Cay...

Our family's favorite!!

The more "ambitious" of our group woke up early for the Castaway Cay 5K.

I totally would have done it... but someone had to stay with Lydia and Jadyn.
Bahahahaha

In truth... a "rasher" of bacon was probably calling my name at breakfast instead.

But... after breakfast, the three of us got off the ship.

We spent a glorious, far too short day in paradise.

There was snorkeling...

Sailing with Poppa...

Eating...

Lounging in hammocks...

Happy faces...

and family pics...

+ a whole lot of just plain basking in the sun in anticipation of returning home to the arctic...

It was a perfect day!

Followed by our last dinner and Mickey bars.

(My thoughts after my the last meal on a cruise is always, "crap, I'm going to have to go back to preparing meals again.")

We worked all week to win something like this... at our very last event we finally prevailed!!
Disney music trivia champs right here.

A late night movie in Tayler and Jaden's room.

Then sadly, the next morning they kicked us off the ship.

What an awesome week, with all these cuties.

Thank you, thank you, thank you mom and dad for providing such wonderful memories for our family.  We are so blessed to have these experiences and we will cherish them forever!
Love you all!
