July is...
Birthday month @ our house.
Tayler turned 20 on the 1st and we celebrated at the family reunion @ Bear Lake.
Her work friends remembered her too.
Kenna celebrated her 14th Birthday on the 3rd.
It started with breakfast @ Kneaders with Shane.
Ice Cream with her friend Libby.
And dinner @ Pizza Pie Cafe.
Then we watched the Logan Fireworks in our usual spot on 14th north.
(Thanks for the yummy lemonade Tayler and Jaden.)
Then she FINALLY got to open presents from us at about 11:30 PM.
And we got the cake in by midnight!
A few days later a friend party with some of her cute friends.
Night games + Food... a great combination.
There was the 4th of July.
Our favorite way to start out the morning, with the scout breakfast!
A BBQ at our house that night.
No pictures for proof... but I swear I remember that??
(Although truthfully the last couple months are all a blur so I could have just made that up?)
I do remember dress like a cow day @ Chic fil a.
These were the only 2 around to go with me.
Lydia and I joined in with Jadyn's Activity Day group on a hike along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
We spent lots of nights out "star-gazing".
This is one of Lydia and Jadyn's VERY favorite summertime activities!
Kenna spent a week @ Retreat for Girls at Utah State.
We missed her like crazy around here, but she had a blast and I love seeing how much joy this week brings her!!
We received "selfies" from Shane in Guatemala...
And Kansas City :)...
He was gone for a good chunk of July.
I spent 5 days at Bear Lake with the girls.
Tayler and Jaden came up for a couple of days.
Jaden took them fishing @ the Garden City Pond.
No fish... which the other Jadyn was ecstatic about because she DID NOT want to go.
But ended up thinking it was fantastic... since no fish were involved.
Some of Kenna's friends came up for the day.
And the Astle's made it up for a night/day.
Shane got home from Kansas City in time to join us for the last day.
Bear lake is always a great time!!
Saige has LOVED Bear Lake all summer.
Working at ZIPZ has been the best experience for her.
We never got to see her, and we may have had some discussions about us wanting her home more than she was...
But she loved it.
(And we love her and miss her like crazy now that she is in Connecticut! :( )
Tayler and Saige got to go to Lake Powell with Jaden and his family.
Unfortunately, because Tayler had to get back for work it was the shortest trip to Lake Powell ever.
They left Monday AM and were home Wednesday by 6 PM.
It was there first time to Lake Powell, so they had fun even if it was for just a minute.
Sadly pictures left on my computer from that quick trip were lacking.
This was the best one... hahaha
Jadyn celebrated her 11th Birthday on the 25th.
Gosh she's a cute little thing!
Yep... July was a good month.
So grateful that I got to share it with my cute family!
