July 2014 catchup...

Trying to catch up from July,
which means I'm throwing it clear back to the 4th. :)

The Scout Pancake Breakfast is always the best way to start off the morning...

Cutest cousins ever!

Thanks for breakfast Poppa!
Tayler was in a parade, Shane was working, they missed out.

My dad's high school friend Tony Thomas was visiting from Australia, so he got in on all of the 4th of July fun, including a BBQ at our house that night.

Awwwwww...

A visit to Coldstone is always welcome.
Where was Kenna???  Probably at a friends house... Kenna is ALWAYS with friends!

a few sparklers... and a visit to the Wood's for fireworks that night.

There was a breakfast at Herm's Inn the day before to celebrate Kenna's 11th B-day.
(we're waiting for Shane to arrive :))

There was a super fun week @ Bear Lake in July.

Saige's friend Jayden came up with us.  Later in the week the Carlsen's made it up for a day, the Astle's and Shane made it up for a couple too.

Pineapple Whips at "Zips" is now our families favorite Bear Lake treat!

That night we all loved watching Beauty and the Beast @ Pickleville.

There was no shortage of fun!

One of the funniest moments at Bear Lake... this pic was taken right after a lady asked me where she could find a neighbor to watch her kids at the pool!  haha... but that was after she had said to Josh, "She looks just like you, I bet you get that a lot."  He had to explain that he was just the neighbor, which he felt like sounded slightly creepy. :)

The girls were super excited that Lisa and I were the "fun moms".

Robert (Josh's friend) was looking super patriotic this July!

I love this pic for SO many reasons, but Lydia laying in front of them cracks me up!!

Tayler was barely there with us since she had to keep going back home to work + dates with Hayden who left on his mission July 30 (It's been 26 days, I know because she tells me on the daily, poor thing) + she had a cheer retreat at Bear Lake at the same time.

So we were glad to find those cute SV cheer girls at the beach!

A fabulous week that was far too short in my opinion!!

July was also filled with watermelon...

and lemonade...

and tons of shaved ice...

and picnics...

and gorgeous sunsets...

and 4 days @ Girls Camp for Tayler and Saige... and of course Shane who hopes to never miss a year, so far he is 6 for 6... only 14 more to go!

Saige got her permit...
All I will say is that she has improved A LOT in the last 6 weeks!
But I still fear for my life...

There was TONS of friend time...

North Logan's 24th of July parade...

Silly photo shoots with my teenagers...

Dang cute little summer girls...

And a picture with Elder Anderson at Olive Garden...

Maybe the wine cabinet wasn't the best backdrop for this photo? ;)

Saige and I will never forget Tayler tripping on the way out after he held the door for us...
her leg all hurt and bleeding and her jumping up whispering, "keep walking, keep walking."

That was funny!

Lots of memories from July.
Right about now with school started and schedules getting crazy I wish we were back in those carefree July days!!
