Blog slacker... yes I am.
But I've been busy with other stuff.
Like...
catching up on the past 1 - 1/2 years of scrapbooks. And I did it!
Totally caught up to Dec. 2012 this month!
And was so hoping that the 450 pages (don't worry lots are copies) that I ordered would get here today.
They didn't... :(
But they'll look a little like this...
I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I hit "send" and know they are being printed up all perfectly! {ahhhh}
Shane been busy the last month too... he just got home from a week working on the Portland Temple last night.
And spent another 10 days in Washington DC working on that Temple the first part of January...
And he spent a weekend in St. George in mid January with Tayler...
They got new golf stuff for Christmas and both were super excited to test it out.
Tayler logged lots of driving hours. She drove almost the whole way to and from.
A fun daddy/daughter weekend... and Tay didn't mind that she missed a day of school... or that she got to see grass and blue skies... :)
While Shane was off in DC, Tayler, Saige and I painted their rooms.
I had told Shane a few months ago that they were hoping we would do that soon and he seemed super surprised that it was, "already time to repaint". I reminded him that they were 7 and 5 when we moved in... so their tastes have changed a little.
Lots of work... painting, recovering chairs and windowseats, etc. etc. but they are both totally happy without the Purple (tayler) and blue (saige)... now they are more like "teenage" rooms... with just a few things to finish up. :)

Other happenings have been.
Snow... and cold... and more cold... and only a few days warm enough to build snowmen.
I altogether missed posting about Christmas...
and Lydia's 3rd birthday...
and a weekend in SLC to see the lights over Christmas Break...
New Years Eve etc.
but couldn't leave out this picture from my Daddy's birthday... also on New Years Eve. (We were all there except Shelly's family. :()
We are off to a great start of 2013!!
