I spoke too soon...

So Friday I did this post about how "I was living on little sleep getting tons of scrapbooking done, etc. etc. "

Did someone curse me about that post????

Because that night after spending a few hours with good friends scrapping together in what should have been way more hours... I started feeling sick...  like horrible headache, sore throat, body aches etc.  So I quickly apoligized and headed home (and I so hope that none of you caught what I have because then you will all be cursing me too.)

And now after being on antibiotics for strep throat since Saturday I am STILL feeling down right crappy.  I'm starving but it hurts too bad to swallow... (the only benefit to that is that I have lost 7 lbs and almost down to pre-Lydia size...  it's called the 4 day starvation diet)  I don't answer the phone because it hurts to talk... I write notes to my family and only answer with nods and my made up sign language... and I am feeling bad that my Jadyn asked me the second day in a row if she was babysitting Lydia again...   I have another apointment today to see why I'm not getting better...  Let's hope something else helps although I don't know that my empty stomach is ready for anymore medicine in it...  OUCH!

I'm missing important things to me and my girls DANG IT!

Kenna's last soccer game...

and helping Tayler pack for her 8th grade Science trip that she is on right now in Yellowstone...
And Saige's 6th grade World's Fair this morning...

Those things all make me very sad... :(

But this picture makes me kindof smile...

My cute little Jadyn washing the dishes for me... (she has done this several times the last few days... and she says she likes it... who knew.)
And my little "Houdini"... how does she manage to squirm out of her belt... I only know that it is NOT safe!
And that thing on the edge of the sink...  a shaved ice maker...  I can handle the little ice chips running down my throat...

Thanks for the offers and the help in running my kids to lessons...
And for the unnecessary but yummy dinner that Janet brought last night...  I ate 2 very small bites so I know it was good but all the rest of the family (minus Tayler who isn't home :))  Gobbled it up a SURE sign it was good.

It's at times like this when I am more grateful for helpful little caring girls who write me sweet get well notes...  My favorite line in Kenna's was "I wish I had superpowers and I would just make you all better."  aah
And for a sweet husband who is willing and able to do everything I'm not able to do.
And although my house isn't how I necessarily "want it", they are all trying and the kids are happy and well cared for... Thank You Shane!

And now to who ever cursed me... take it back!!!!!!!!!!!

Scrapbook Pages...

I am officially tired of the rain... I need to get outside in the yard to pull weeds infesting our yard due to all this rain... so please stop!  I want to enjoy a day or so of "warmish spring weather"... before it's all hot and sweaty and I complain about that...

GRRRRR!  :) 

Seriously though I think I feel like most people when I look at the calendar and say, "What!  Where has May gone to!"

I will say that May has been busy...  I can hardly see the numbers on the calendar because our family has so much crammed onto our calendar so I have LOTS to post about... but today I'll post about what my nights have been filled with for the last month or so...

Scrapbooking!!

EVERY night from about 10 - 1 (or 2 :)) you will find me sitting on my bed watching TV and scrapbooking - I have finished over 100 pages this month!  Yay for me!

If you haven't switched to digital scrapbooking yet... here's my testimonial... do it!!  I didn't think I would like it at all, thought I would miss all the "hands on stuff"...  but put down your scissors people!!  Digital scrapbooking is cheap, non messy, satisfying, and in my opinion looks better... and having a group of friends to get together with for "late nights" every once in a while (which normally end earlier for me than a regular scrapbook night :))  Is heaven!

I just had a whole bunch printed through "persnickety prints" and totally love the finished product... I hope one day I can actually be "caught up"!

Hope you have a great day... as I am finishing this post I see the sun poking through the clouds.  This might be all the sun we get today so it's time to put on my gloves and get outside...  AFTER I clean my house, and take care of my little ones of course!

Lydia THINKS she is far bigger than she is...

And since she in my mind will always be my itty bitty baby, I think she shouldn't be doing things like this yet...

But alas, she is growing up... getting into everything independent... being a totally busy little monkey... and trying hard to keep up with her big sisters.

She's ready for big adventures in her life...

This particular day I found her dancing on the table...

She has some serious table dancing skills...

Even I learned a move or two from her. :)
